We had a blast at our Fall Release Party this weekend! Thanks to all who came out and celebrated the release of the 2013 Native9 Pinot Noir at Rancho Ontiveros. Having a party with lots of familiar faces (and some new ones too… welcome to our newest club members!) is definitely our preferred way to end a long harvest season.
The weather couldn’t have been more perfect, warm and sunny with a nice breeze (and some chilled chardonnay) to keep us cool. James and our good friend Chris Hammel (the Vineyard Manager at Bien Nacido Vineyard) poured our wines, although James took a break from pouring to shuck some fresh oysters from Morro Bay Oyster Company, which we served along with hot-off-the-BBQ shrimp and bacon wrapped scallops to pair with our Rancho Viñedo chardonnays. We served duck breast, lamb-cicles, filets, and mushrooms to pair with our 2012 and 2013 Native9 Pinot Noir. and Piece of Cake Bakery supplied the amazing harvest-themed cake pops and cupcakes.
We’ve posted some photos below that share just a bit of the fun we had, and we’re already looking forward to our next member event! Make sure you sign up for our newsletter or become a member to stay in the loop.
